Dockery Lake is in the National Forest near Suches. There is fishing and overnight camping for $8 per night. How to get there: Dockery Lake is between Suches and Dahlonega off of Highway 60. The turnoff is halfway between mileposts 19 and 20 on the Lumpkin County (Dahlonega) side of Woody Gap. The road is well-marked with a Forest Service sign. Turn onto the unpaved Forest Service road 654 and proceed approximately 1.1 miles to the campground. For more info, see this great article.
