Deep Hole Recreation Area

Deep Hole Recreation is in the National Forest, operated by Chattahoochee Outdoor Adventures. The main draw is a large fishing area of the Toccoa River. Day passes are $3, overnight passes are $10 for non-waterfront camping and $12 for waterfront spots. There appear to be about a dozen camping areas with a central bathroom. The area is closed from 10 p.m. till 7 a.m. for non-campers.

How to get there: From Suches, go north on Georgia Highway 60 into Fannin county. At mile post 3, turn left onto the unpaved road. The road is well-marked. Continue approximately 0.4 miles to the campground.
